DTP launched the Downtown Midweek Market as a pilot program in September 2023 with the dual purposes of increasing access to fresh produce and food and bringing more foot traffic to Downtown’s central neighborhood. More than 140 vendors participated, generating more than $30,000 in revenue while providing customers unique offerings that complemented Downtown’s existing business composition.

“Our fall pilot proved to be successful for Downtown and the vendors alike, and feedback from residents, employees and visitors encouraged us to bring the Midweek Market back to Chapman Green,” said Brian Kurtz, DTP’s President and CEO. “We look forward to building on the success of fall 2023 with more produce vendors, a greater diversity of local performers and several theme nights with family-friendly activities.”

Downtown Tulsa has more than 38,000 employees and nearly 5,000 residents, and saw 2.15 million visitors in 2023. The timing of the market allows Downtown employees, residents, and visitors to shop the Market before going home as well as to enjoy local entertainment.

Sponsors of the 2024 Downtown Midweek Market are Narrate, Atlas School, and Elote Cafe & Catering. For a list of weekly vendors or to apply for Market or booth sponsorship opportunities, visit DowntownTulsa.com/Market.
